Submit H-1B Petition
Employer Submits H-1B Petition to USCIS. After LCA approval, the employer files Form I-129. Applications enter the electronic lottery for selection.
Preliminary USCIS Approval
If selected in the lottery, the petition is reviewed and approved by USCIS.
Embassy Visa Application
After USCIS approval, the applicant attends an interview at the US Embassy/Consulate to complete the visa process.
